The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) was established on 4 November 1975 to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. The Headquarters of the SSC is located in the city of New Delhi, India and have seven Regional Offices at Allahabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Bangalore and two Sub-Regional Offices at Raipur and Chandigarh. It recruit various Group “B” and non-technical Group “C” posts n the various Ministries/ Departments of the Govt. of India. Every year the SSC invites the notification for various examination.
